Résumé
The objective of this manual is to help Correctional Services staff understand the importance of mediation and how they can bring about an informal and peaceful resolution to the conflict between two or more parties. The kinds of cross-cultural disputes that tend to arise, for example, in the prison setting are generally connected to various issues. In consideration of the context, mediation can be used to resolve a dispute between two individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
