Summary
This report is a death review of the 16 children and youth between the ages of 10-19 who died as a result of suicide in the years 2006-2008 in the Pikangikum First Nation. The Purpose of the review was to: examine the circumstances of the death of each of the children and youth, to collect and analyze information about the deaths in order to prevent further deaths in similar circumstances to make recommendations directed toward the avoidance of deaths in similar circumstances or respecting any other matter arising out of the review.
