Summary

The Ontario Provincial Police and its senior officers were granted standing at Parts I and II of this Inquiry. These submissions are similarly divided into Parts I and II. The Part I submissions immediately follow. The OPP acknowledges that mistakes were made and that much has been learned since and as a result of Ipperwash. Many of these lessons have been articulated during the testimony of current and former officers of the OPP, and will be more fully developed during the oral and written submissions.
