The main goal of this project is to prevent relationship violence amongst young Somali couples by positively influencing their capacities to develop and maintain safe relationships with one another.
This project will use an integrated partnership between the John Howard Society of Toronto and the Somali Youth Association of Toronto, to implement a culturally-specific safe relationships initiative for Somali youth that will combine group-based discussion and education with individual and couples' counselling services
