A national "roll-out" of the sustainability tool kit, developed in part by the FPT Working Group on Community Safety and Crime Prevention, in a "train the trainer" format would facilitate national, regional, and community familiarity with and use of the tools, ensure the consistency of message and approach, and build a cross-Canada "core" base of expertise in this area. A two-track implementation process is envisioned to address this issue from policy and community perspectives. |
