This project will draw on the experiences of offenders through a "choices and consequences" model to empower youth at-risk, or those already involved in the criminal justice system, to break the cycle of destruction. Using the concepts of the medicine wheel as well as restorative justice approaches, this project will build a supportive environment for both youth and ex-offenders. This project targets high-risk Aboriginal youth and Aboriginal ex-offenders. |
