| Purpose : |
To achieve the expected results, the following activities have been planned:
. Carry out on-site intervention work in four targeted schools: monitor young people who are particularly at risk (homeroom), lunch time leadership and structuring, control and resolution of situations involving tension, integration activities during the school term;
. Through the Club ImmigrAction (positive and active peer group), organize activities adapted to young immigrants on a regular basis and develop four special wide-scale activities with immigrants and Quebec natives in the four targeted schools;
. Actively promote the on-site activities and services offered to teenagers between 16 and 18 years of age who attend the Centre Louis-Jolliet to ensure that they receive better coaching through the offer of activities specially adapted to these clients;
. Monitor and take action in the parks with a view to reaching immigrant clients to improve local safety and generate a sense of belonging in the neighbourhood;
. Assist teachers in their efforts to communicate with the parents and use local resources to create ties with them.
