TREK will work with 8 First Nations Communities to heighten the awareness of drug abuse and violence and to cause personal reflection and change in attitudes towards drug abuse and crime. In order to address these issues, primarily the organization will educate and work with the youth to assist them in becoming more aware of how they can influence behaviour in others, look out for others and make positive choices. They will also educate the parents and the communities on the effects of drug use and raise awareness about bullying and violence.
