Résumé
The study explores the extent to which police organizations in Canada have incorporated business practices, in particular those of strategic management and performance measurement, which are congruent with the contemporary public and private sectors and have moved from the traditional to contemporary community policing model. It provides insight into the extent that police organizations in Canada have implemented strategic management and performance measurement so that they operate as strategic and outcome-focused organizations.
