Ottawa, Ontario, December 9th, 2013 – The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, today recognized Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) following the arrest of Gazmend Dervishaj.
“I applaud the efforts of CBSA officers in Calgary who arrested the 49th individual from the ‘Wanted by the CBSA' list. We continue to urge Canadians to remain vigilant and notify the authorities if they have information that could help in locating any of the individuals who remain at large.”
Dervishaj has been convicted of arson and is inadmissible to Canada.
