Centre for Resiliency and Continuity Management (CRCM)
Public Safety Canada’s Centre for Resiliency and Continuity Management (CRCM) helps support the development and implementation of business continuity management programs and practices among federal government institutions.
Business continuity management is an integrated management process for the continuity or recovery of critical services and activities during an emergency or disruptive event.
The CRCM is the Lead Security Agency for business continuity management and provides leadership, expertise, tools, and training to federal institutions to enhance organizational resilience across the Government of Canada.
Engage with the CRCM
Our team is available to assist federal institutions by providing advice or guidance on the development and implementation of a business continuity management program.
We regularly engage with Chief Security Officers and business continuity management practitioners from across the Government of Canada through a number of platforms including:
-
Interdepartmental Business Continuity Management Community of Practice
- This community of practice is an interdepartmental forum for promoting the exchange of best practices, lessons learned, and knowledge sharing related to business continuity management.
-
CRCM GCXchange page
- The CRCM GCXchange page (GC user access only) is a forum for federal institutions to collaborate and share information, and a resource library for business continuity management documents and technical guidance published by the CRCM.
